Four Pillars

The four bedrocks of Genmount OS

Genmount OS rests on four engineering pillars. Each one is named twice — once in Mandarin, once in its modern technical term — because the two names point to the same thing from two different angles, and neither stands alone.

These four names are pinned. Public materials use the Eastern name and the English term together — never one without the other.

Pillar 01

息壤 Xirang

Hybrid State-Space Topography · HSS

Refuse to squash three-dimensional physical reality into a one-dimensional token stream. The model understands the continuity of space and causality — not probabilistic word-splicing.

Eastern Narrative

Xirang — the soil that grows itself, the continuous ground that carries all things.

Why It Matters

Solves the 'linguistic hallucination' of foundation models inside the physical world — robotics and medicine first.

Pillar 02

重楼 Chonglou

Tri-Tier Architecture of Permanence

Structural memory, episodic memory, and working memory are physically isolated — and a policy tier sits above them to carry transferable experience without contamination.

Eastern Narrative

Chonglou — a tri-tiered pavilion: each storey keeps to itself, never intrudes on the next.

Why It Matters

Cures the foundation-model disease of forgetting on sight, mixing memories, and losing long-horizon consistency.

Pillar 03

执矩 Zhiju

Bicameral Decision Engine · The "No" Logic

The system can independently say "No" and "I don't know" — and that path cannot be talked over by reasoning.

Eastern Narrative

Zhiju — hands on the square and compass: knowing what to refuse, and refusing it.

Why It Matters

The first system that dares to say "No" — an unmovable safety floor for robotics and medical AI. Aligned with Gen = 艮 = the mountain's immovability.

Pillar 04

连山 Lianshan

Deep-Syntactic Discovery · Multi-hop Reasoning

Mine the unlabelled logical veins inside existing corpora — multi-hop reasoning, cross-chapter causality, cross-disciplinary bridges — never surface mimicry.

Eastern Narrative

Lianshan — ranges that connect: the ore in one mountain runs through the next.

Why It Matters

Lets the system close the loop across domains — TCM modernisation (mining cause-effect chains left unlabelled by modern medicine) co-exists with Western-medicine audit logic.
